Have you ever got up at 5AM for the sake of art? Cool - me either. But we did in October! But look at this beauty! Ugh - these ladies made me feel like I’m not so strong, but you can be as strong as them too! You can actually take classes at their space - just click here!
We used silk florals for the hoops but real flowers for the flower crowns! Do you need some extra entertainment for your big day? Or have a super fun corporate event you want to WOW big execs with? Book. These. Ladies. The rig is totally portable! I mean, we set it up in The Compound…
Bright colors all the way! Loved being apart of this super fun shoot put on by the lovely Yulisa Nunez!
Florida did it’s normal Florida thin with temperamental weather but look at these shots captured by Britt & Bean Photography. This boss babe is located in Jacksonville and does so many awesome weddings and engagement shoots at a place called Driftwood Beach. You have to check it out for yourself.
Orlando Wedding and Party Rental with the awesome ladder backdrop setup that is totally available for rent and more decor! Gown hand sewn by Krustallo’s Couture Bridal, my twinnn with the bomb cake, and Misti Blu Day with hair and makeup! Stationary provided by Fiore Belle. And if you ever need models - Jennifer and Jonathan are available!
I used fun yellow spray roses, Queen Anne’s lace, white mums, hydrangeas, and stock flowers. The theme was travel and figured why not use some fun colors?
Have you ever thought of having a garden wedding? Ya should and most definetely have it at Rockledge Gardens! Liz is so wonderful at what she does in getting everything situated for her brides and an absolute pleasure to work with!
Perfectly tucked away within their shopping area of all the plants is actually a wedding area! They have a reception location, an arch and ceremony area, all tucked within the greenery of plants and tree - perfect for crazy plant ladies like myself #noshame.
For this shoot we had the pleasure of having the ever so bubbly Becca for our model. She made this so magical with her energy. Briana de Bengson provided stunning makeup that matched my florals amazingly. The dress was from The King’s Daughter Bridal and loved using something a little different to showcase - Hey, who says you have to wear white?! Misti Blu Day McDermott is responsible for that gorgeous hair and the photos - insert heart eyes - by Nick and Lauren Photography. I love their style and the fact they use smoke bombs - because…smoke bombs?! Duh.
The word of the day was - King Protea (pro-tea-uh). That big, giant, spikey, looking flower off to the side of the bouquet. It’s one heavy momma but it provides a wow-factor! Yellow cymbidium orchids, seeded eucalyptus, white fuji mums, and hot pink spray roses are what I used to create this beauty.
The cutest and newest venue to hit the North Brevard area is The Peach Barn! What I keep calling, Ever After Farm’s Blueberry Barn, little sister. It’s like they took a chunk out of the Blueberry Barn and planted it just a few minutes away! Perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings.
One of the best parts? I get to hang my hoops here! The lovely Monica has granted me her blessing! Wooooo! My brides and I thank you madame!
These awesome photos were taken by Shaina DeCiryan, who told me something amazing. As you know, my business name is from a fern curl. She LIVED in New Zealand where these grow. She called it a koru, and I went huh? Then she told me the story of these guys! They symbolize new life and growth! Plot twist - if you look up koru jewelry, I actually HAD a necklace with one of these probably 10 years ago now. I wore it every single day pretty much, showered with it too. So crazy how it all came full circle!
My amazing twin at it with this rad cake, The King’s Daughter Bridal and M&B Bridal provided amazing dresses! Laura Reynolds for the hair and makeup and the models from Modern Muse Models - Katie and Jered!
This part of the Peach Barn photo shoot was done by the wonderful duo - Oak and Iron! These two are seriously awesome and I always know I’m going to get great pictures if they’re involved. They’re so much fun to work with and you definitely know your big day or event is going to be awesome when your vendors love working together. Everything just meshes together like a good PB&J. Plus they literally run around in their Dr. Martens. I watched it with my own eyeballs. Where’s their sponsorship huh?!
Tucked away in the middle of Florida is The Arundel Estate. An absolutely beautiful home, now turned venue! Large amounts of space both up and downstairs, with an amazing back courtyard area complete with a pool!
This photoshoot was a big one! A large amount of vendor’s participated in this all day affair and this particular album is of Infinite Memories work!
If I could be travel in Sam Rae’s pocket, I totally would. This amazing boss lady took these photos and did the makeup. She also travels around the world - so that’s pretty neat.
She happened to find me on the social media’s, met up with my bo for a parking lot flower deal and away they went! Then I got these babes and was super excited, yet super bummed that I didn’t get to actually meet her! Vendor life…
Dress provided by Mon Amie Bridal Salon, suite via Jos. A Bank Clothiers, Inc.
Kathy and I worked together on the Costa d’Este shoot! I get a message about doing a super different, editorial type style shoot. Um, yes please. She explains what she’s thinking - and I think I kind of get it…So I ask for a drawing just to be sure. And heck yes, we’re on the same wave length.
We all meet at her house, she made all of the dresses, Beauty by Briana works her magic on the models, run over to an undisclosed location in Hobe Sound and Tara captures these stunning babes. All of the magic.
One of the craziest parts of this shoot - was that there was another AFTON! We had a mildly hard time determining which one of us everyone was talking to, haha.
I used light blue delphinium, pink astible, apricot ranunculus, alstromeria, light pink spray roses, lisianthus, sahara roses with some ruscus.
Haute Dry did the hair and makeup, jewelry provided by Styled by Markie, awesome gowns via Fifth Avenue Bridal by Julia Barney. Super pretty stationary from Alexis & Lynn, Crystals and Crates provided the amazing furniture/decor. My lovely friendor Mimosas and Moonshine with the goblets and dishes! The table was from Houses of Todds, cake and macaroons from Claire North, and bridal cookies from Cut-A-Cookie. And last but not least, the lovely groom wearing Cardita Formal Wear!
Did we decide to have a photoshoot the one day Florida decided to be freezing cold? Yup. Sure did. But it was so worth it with these amazing photos from Native Expression Photography! She’s based in North Florida, like St. Augustine/Jax area, but she’s so down for travel, she went to Hawaii! Um, please pack me in your suitcase. Kthanks.
Misti Blu Day McDermott was the hair and model this time, along side her bo Blake! Put together all the way from Vegas via Sylver Weddings and Events! Probably the best part of all this was being told from Lauren, the planner, boss lady told me it was her birthday the day we were doing the shoot! So we got a fun little cake and I made her her own little arrangement that we surprised her with after the shoot.
The boat washed up after Hurricane Irma, named Cuki. Originating from New York! It has since become a tourist attraction.
Down in Vero Beach lies Costa d’Este Beach Resort and Spa, Gloria Estafan’s own hotel! The waters are the most aqua blue your brain can imagine and it’s simply breath taking. You already feel relaxed just walking to the beach!
A super awesome group of vendors came together for shoot filled with whites, blues and greens - perfect for being right next to the ocean.
