Another friend’s wedding - hooray! I’ve known Ali since high school, so naturally I told her I was doing her flowers, she didn’t really have a choice. She was to be my guinea pig for my CRM software that I use for all of my brides now!
I’ll be honest - and I was honest with her - anemones are not my favorite flower. Why? They are SO tempermental! BUT, man oh man, did these babes come in beautiful. It’s like they knew they had to shut me up and they did.
We used blue anemones, yes blue, the flower world is weird, white anemones, statice, roses, stock, caspia and all of the greens!
She actually trained herself to do all of the calligraphy from the invitations to the table numbers! And she is also my first bride where I can showcase - the garland rings! Insert Xena chakrum noises here. I was so excited with how they came out. My boyfriend actually helped on this one a lot too with the greenery backdrop wall we did. She is the first one to use that too! She sure was a guinea pig for a lot of things now that I think about it…
Held at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market and shot by the amazingly magical Shannon Miller , these photos are just bomb. It was a fun night, with a choreographed first dance that wow’d everyone and there may or may not have been an incident with smoke bombs and Ali’s reception dress…all of the shenanigans were had!
